Overview
Q-SYS Programming & AV Control Services
Our Q-SYS and AV programming services cover the development and configuration of integrated audio, video, control, and monitoring systems.
We can support Q-SYS Designer development, DSP processing, audio routing, user interfaces, control logic, device communication, system monitoring, Lua scripting, and commissioning. We also provide general AV programming support for projects requiring communication between multiple third-party devices and subsystems.
Scope
Typical Scope Includes
- Q-SYS Designer file development and updates
- Q-SYS Core configuration
- Q-SYS DSP programming
- Audio routing and signal flow
- UCI and touch-panel programming
- Lua scripting
- Named Controls and control logic
- Snapshot and preset programming
- Device status monitoring
- Third-party device integration
- TCP/IP and UDP control
- Serial device control
- Networked audio coordination
- AV-over-IP control integration
- Inter-system communication
- Commissioning
- As-built program/file updates and handover support
In-Depth scope 1
Q-SYS Programming
We configure DSP processing and audio signal paths including routing, mixing, gain structure, equalization, delays,
dynamics processing, source selection, paging logic, and system monitoring according to the project requirements.
In-Depth scope 2
Q-SYS UCI Development
We develop operator-friendly Q-SYS User Control Interfaces for touch panels, control stations, and browser-based operation.
Interfaces can include source selection, volume control, system power, device status, presets, routing, monitoring, and service functions.
In-Depth scope 3
Third-Party Device Integration
We support integration with displays, projectors, media players, audio processors, amplifiers, lighting systems, show controllers, network devices,
and other equipment using supported communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, serial communication, HTTP APIs, and other manufacturer-defined interfaces.
In-Depth scope 4
Lua & Custom Control Logic
Where standard components are not sufficient, Lua scripting can be used to implement advanced control functions, state management, automation,
device parsing, conditional logic, and custom third-party integrations.
In-Depth scope 5
Testing & Commissioning
Programming support can continue through functional testing, troubleshooting, device communication verification, user interface testing,
audio routing verification, system optimization, and final commissioning.
Deliverables
Typical Deliverables
- Q-SYS design files and AV programming files or logic documentation
- UCI, touch panel, and control interface layouts
- Control logic descriptions and sequence notes
